I appreciate the calender bro, My company just got a box of em in and there’s calenders all over the office now. We’re a flight company of Blackhawk helicopters about halfway through our tour here. We’re stationed out of Fort Drum, NY and I think everyone wants to take their midtours down to Brazil now. Anyway just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate your support.

Thanks so much for the calendar. It was unexpected and very thoughtful. Its always great to see the support we have of others and now a days it is few and far between. The calendar will hang on my wall the rest of my deployment and will help me keep track of things I need to accomplish and how much time I have until I get to go home and see my family. Let the lady’s from Brazil know that they are great models and I thank them very much. Thanks again for your support, you really brightened up my day.

Jeremiah,
I just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for your kind gift and letter. Please know that your mere thoughts of good wishes are enough to suffice.
I must say, you have a great job! Where do I wait in line to get a job like that? Just kidding, my wife would kill me if I was around those beautiful women all day.
I put the calendar up for all of my guys to see and they are very appreciative as well! Most of them will come by and look for a moment and then get back to their work. It surely seems to brighten their day. I can tell you, that it brightens my day!
I am not a true critic, but I feel you have some true talent. The shots from April and May were spectacular! I especially like the slow motion shots of the water. My favorite model, I think is Dayana, but they are all very beautiful.
Please thank the models for us as well and tell them we have adopted them as our Company mascots.
An update on new pics: Its been crap weather down here in Floripa lately. The good news is that I have two new girls scheduled for this weekend and I am expecting great weather! Hope to give new pics soon.

America at its finest
Jeremiah,
THANK YOU, for sending a box of calendars to us over here in Iraq. I am a Sgt in the Air Force stationed at Fob Falcon in Baghdad, Iraq. I am a Air Force military police unit consisting of volunteers from over 100 Air Forces bases throughout the world. We all joined up for training last July preparing for our year long endeavor to baghdad to train and mentor and help Iraqi police transition to take control of the security of their country. We are almost halfway through our tour and we are looking forward to coming home safely.
After a rare morning workout, I was walking towards the exit of the gym and noticed there was a box of calendars of sitting on the counter in our gym. I was shocked and excited to see brazilian women on the calendars. I think they are one of the sexiest women in the world, so I had to pick one up and put it in my room. this calendar will definitely keep me in good spirits when the time gets rough.
thanks again for your support,
Matt
I just got a copy of your ‘09 calendar from my Brigade Command Sergeant Major (he’s got a lot of them!). Couple things I’d like to say to you. First, congratulations on your success! What an awesome dream to have fulfilled! Second, thanks for supporting our troops. All a Soldier needs from his citizens is thanks. I appreciate you providing it….and then some.

Rose was great to make photos with! It was the first time she had done any swimsuit photos. I found her through an online site called Orkut which is very similar to MySpace or Facebook. Nearly every Brazilian uses Orkut and I have found to be a great way of finding girls to participate. You can checkout the new photos here
Its carnival time here in Brazil. Floripa has become flooded with tourists. The beaches are jam packed and too crowded to make photos so its gonna be a full week off for the project. In the mean time then I am continuing to line up new girls for the next calendar. Look for new photos in about a week!

www.GirlsofBrazilCalendar.com has received a new look. A focus was put towards letting site visitors view the photos. I have officially started shooting the 2010 calendar. You can find the first two participants in the new 2010 photos section. This year looks like it is going to be amazing! More girls will get added each week for the coming two months. I hope you enjoy the new site.

A glimpse into the making of a calendar photoshoot. Shot by model Dayana on location in Floripa, Brazil
Amazing Greicy is back! Short film starts as we are driving to the beach at 5 am. Everyone is really tired but we get great shots! And then there is a quick glance into shooting in the afternoon on a public beach.
Donations to the troops 2009 Girls of Brazil Calendars
3750 calendars were put on a truck today. This truck is leaving from Billings, Montana to go to Texas. From Texas these calendars will get shipped to Iraq and Afghanistan and eventually find their way to the troops on the front of the lines.
This shipment is the first of four shipments going out in the next four weeks. This brings the total Girls of Brazil 2009 calendars donated to the troop at 20,000.
